Donkey and his shadow

A traveler hired a donkey and rode it far away. The weather was very hot that day, and the sun was hot. He stopped and rested, hiding under the shadow of a donkey, seeking a shade to avoid exposure. 

The shadow of the donkey is only enough to cover one person, so the passenger and the owner of the donkey vie fiercely for shading, and everyone thinks they have this right. The owner of the donkey insisted that he only rented the donkey itself, not the shadow of the donkey. 

The traveler said that the donkey he hired included the donkey itself and the shadow. They argued so much that they fought each other. When they fought, the donkey ran away.

This means that people often quarrel over trivial matters and lose the most important things.
